Phaung Daw Oo PagodaOne of the famous principals shrines in Myanmar. It houses five small Buddha images. Phaung-daw U Pagoda festival celebrates in every October. Four of the Buddha images are carried on royal ceremonial barges. The festival takes 15 days. During the festival, the lake is especially crowded with visitors.
Ywarma VillageIt is t a floating village located 12 km away on the lake’s south western shore. It is also called as Inle Lake’s “downtown”. What attracts Ywama? It is Ywama’s daily “floating market” and the main market day is on Wednesday.
Nga Phe KyaungIt is 250 years old and wonderfully curved wooden monastery. The entire monastery is constructed of teakwood. It is also know as Cats Jumping Monastery in tourism field. One of the most ancient monasteries on Inle Lake.
