Bookings & Confirmations
All bookings should be made directly with Enchanting Travels & Tours Co.Ltd. All reservation requests are normally confirmed by either email or fax and in case immediate confirmation is not possible principals will be informed of the booking status.
Tour Price
All tour price are quoted nett in US$ and Euro money. Tour price does not include airport departure tax, meals not listed, optional tours and expenses of a personal nature such as beverages, laundry, room service, telephone charges, excess baggage charges, camera charges, personal and baggage insurance.
Terms of Payment
As a deposit 30% of the total amount is required to confirm your tour booking. This payment should be set by telegraphic transfer to Myanmar Investment & Commercial Bank. Regarding the payment 70% of the total amount should be paid on arrival. It should be in US $ 100 denominations issued in or after 1996 with no torn edges or corners. The serial number heading must not be CB ( CB xxxxx ---- ) notes. That's what our private changers demand and which we must comply. No credit cards, money transfers, traveler's check which have ceased to exist since July 2003.
Reservations for groups should be made at least one month ahead of intended tour start. For cancellation of confirmed arrangements, a cancellation fee may be charged as some hotels and airlines have a strict policy on late cancellation.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation for booking without bearing any cost is possible not later than 30 days of arrival.
- Cancellation within 7-14 days prior arrival date will be charged 15% of the tour fare.
- Cancellation within 3-6 days prior to travel date will be charged 30% of the tour fare.
- Cancellation within 2 days prior arrival will be charge 100% of the tour fare.
In the case of changes in our supplier's policies, Enchanting Travels & Tours reserves the right to alter the cancellation policy accordingly.
Refund
After commencement of Travel, no refund in full or in part will be given for services includes in the program which are not utilized.
Visa Requirements
Certain countries require a Visa for entry prior to arrival. Please ensure you are fully informed of the requirements before you make a reservation as visas can take some time to obtain.
Unused Service
No refunds can be given for unused or partially used services during the tour program.
Discount
Every 16th member of a group will be given complimentary subject to a maximum limit of one member.
Responsibility
Enchanting Travel & Tours Co., Ltd. act only as agent for the person or companies, providing accommodation, transport or other services, and assumes no liability or responsibility for injury, accidents, loss, damages to person or property, delays, transport failure, strikes, war, additional expenses of inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any service provider or by severe weather, acts of God, civil commotion vehicles or industrial disputes and other factors beyond our control. Enchanting Travel & Tours Co., Ltd. reserves the right to modify or reserves the original tour programme in the interest of the clients. However, Enchanting Travel & Tours Co., Ltd. will always make full endeavors to adhere to the original tour programmes and arrangements.
Health and Fitness
We strongly recommend a visit to your doctor and dentist before your holiday. Your doctor will advise current inoculation requirements. Full details of pre-existing medical conditions must be forwarded with your booking form. Older clients or clients with pre-existing medical conditions may require a doctor’s letter confirming their fitness for the trip. During your holiday you are under the direction of your Trip Leader and he/she has total authority to determine your suitability to participate or continue.
Changes to your Itinerary
Our tours are organized many months in advance and it may become necessary to make an alteration to your tour. Where practical, we will advise you of such changes (other than minor changes) before commencement of the tour. These tours go into remote areas and changes in itinerary may occur because of weather, illness or accident, civil unrest or force majeure, after your tour starts. The Trip Leader has full responsibility for taking the action he/she deems appropriate.
Travel Insurance
It is a condition of booking that all travel members must be protected by their own Medical Evacuation Insurance, which provides for helicopter rescue. The purpose of insurance is to provide proper coverage suited to the specific needs of Adventure Tourism and in the case of an emergency, works quickly and efficiently. Your insurance should also cover accidents, health and loss or damage to personal effects.
