 Bagan: One of the best archeological site in Southeast Asia and thousands of pagoda sprawling across the city, an opportunity to walk though the ancient architectural style from 12th Century. The historical sites of Bagan, an ancient capital that reached its zenith during the 11th and 12th Century stands as a monument to the greatness of Myanmar’s dynasty. It is generally recognized that Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Bora-Budor in Indonesia and Bagan in Myanmar are the greatness historical and archeological site of South East Asia.
DAY 1: Yangon –BaganAir Mandalay or Yangon Airways flight from Yangon to Bagan. From the airport, start your full day Bagan sightseeing tour with a visit to Shwezigon Pagoda, Kyansittha 'Cave' Temple. Continue to Gubyaukgyi Cave(Wetkyi In village) Next stop is Htilominlo, Ananda Temple, Thatbyinnyu Temple and Tharaba Gateway into Old Bagan. Check into your hotel late morning. Lunch at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Archaeological Museum (if open). Continue to Dhammayangyi, Mingalazedi and Moe Moe lacquer ware Enjoy sunset at one of the monuments along Ayeyarwady River. Dinner at local restaurant. Accomodation at Hotel, Bagan.Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner DAY 2: Bagan – Mt.Poppa - BaganBreakfast. Visit Mount Popa, home to Myanmar's intriguing 'nats' (spirits). Continue to drive to Kyaukpadaung and visit the local market. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Bagan in the afternoon and visit Abeyadana Temple, Nanpaya Temple, Manuha Pagoda and Myazedi Stupa Gubyaukgyi Temple (Myinkaba village).
